As Of Today … I’m Oficially Dumber
I'm just too smart and decided to medically dumb myself down a notch, just to fit in :)
So I went to the dentist and had a wisdom tooth removed ... hence I'm less wise.
The entire entertainment took 1hour and 30minutes and the actual extraction took 1hour and 15minutes ... then he sew me back. Imagine a tooth extraction lasting 75minutes. Pure joy and sheer terror.
And this is why it took that long. A challenge for any dentist ... poor dentist, poor nurse and poor little ol'me ...
I'm now in a bit of oral pain and it's hard to talk so I might not blog for a few days ... waiting for pain to go away and blogging speech to come back :) Hahahaha ...

No pain meds to help you through these rough, post-op times?
I haven’t taken antibiotics in almost 7 years and I never took pain meds. Avoided drugs as much as possible lately, except the usual Aspirin.
Now I’m on Augmentin and Ketonal. Ketonal does work against pain but I didn’t even read the side-effects as I’ve been told to take them no matter what and, when you got no choice, it’s better not to know :)
Now I’m pretty good, considering the slaughter :)
Just had 2 pulled last year. Reading your post makes me automatically probe the hole in the back of my mouth with my tongue. I made a promise after last year that no matter what happens the other 2 wisdoms stay. I would much rather have my jaw amputated first.
So true. I’d rather ‘eject’ the ones in front before touching another again.
My leg muscles were twitching as I was sitting on that chair. All the muscles in my body wanted to beat the shit out of the dentist + nurse, but I was kindly asking them to wait a bit more.
